In 2002 the environmental examiners at TÜV Bavaria/Austria, the local branch of the technical inspection associations, conducted a year-long audit, affording the Airport’s environmental officer Wolfgang Brandl an opportunity to show just how environmental

The "living" Environmental Management System pursuant to EMAS/ISO 14.001, which has been in place at Salzburg Airport since March 1998, passed the test with flying colors. At the beginning of 2003 our Company will be up for recertification pursuant to ISO 14.001 and revalidation pursuant to EMAS II.
