Tivat
Tivat is the newest and smallest municipality in the Bay of Kotor. It did not begin to grow and develop as an urban centre until the end of the nineteenth century. Altogether it covers about 46 km2 and has a population of about 13.000. The size and youth of this beautiful town in no way reduce its importance. The main airport for the Montenegrin coast is situated within its territory. A place where every year tens of thousands of tourists from all over the world have their first encounter with Montenegro.
