The attractive coastal city of Tivat in Montenegro will be served three times weekly starting July 16th, while flights to the German industry metropolis Stuttgart will commence August 6th. Stuttgart will be served twice daily on Wednesdays and Fridays plus on Sunday evening.
While Tivat Airport is a touristic destination serving the Budva and Sveti Stephan regions on the Montenegro Beach, services to Stuttgart are timed to suit the business travellers during the week and short-break German guests bound for Salzburg.
For the future, Austrojet plans to develop new regional services out of Salzburg. Additional Dash 8 Airplanes including the 50 seat series 300 will be purchased and integrated into the fleet. For 2009, Austrojet is planning 50 weekly operations in and out of Salzburg airport with a total of 57.000 passengers.
