Griechenland
The summer timetable of Salzburg Airport shows an attractive mix of scheduled, low cost and charter flights. 24 destinations can be reached with scheduled flights, 40 destinations are served by charter carriers, mainly to Mediterranean sun destinations.

More than 80% of all charter flights are operated by Austrian carriers, with Lauda Air and Niki having aircraft based at Salzburg. Other airlines include Sunexpress, Pegasus, Nouvelair, Eurocypria, Bulgarian Air Charter, VIA and Air Cairo (new).

Austrian remains the dominating network carrier , with British Airways representing the One World Alliance. New low cost flights will be operated by Thomsonfly (Manchester) and TUIfly (Dusseldorf). TUIfly will thus operate from six German airports (Hamburg, Cologne, Dusseldorf, Hannover, Berlin, Leipzig) to Salzburg. Ryanair offers flights to London-Stansted and Dublin. The Palma hub operation of FlyNiki/Air Berlin five times a week remains unchanged.

Ein Dutzend Airlines bieten Flüge zu mehr als 40 Zielen, vorwiegend rund um das Mittelmeer. Linienflüge sind stark im Kommen und bieten ideale Kurzurlaubs-Möglichkeiten ab Salzburg.
