Dear Pilots!
Just as at all airports located near a city, the residents in the vicinity of Salzburg Airport W. A. Mozart are also particularly affected by aircraft noise. Please help us to limit complaints to a minimum!  

Departures from runway 34 eastbound (Maria Plain) start making a right turn after passing the highway. 

Departures from runway 34 northbound and eastbound start to make a left turn either just before reaching the highway or later on just before reaching the river Saalach (national border). This way you will avoid the noise sensitive residential areas of  Taxham and Wals/Siezenheim.
