Waiting time is kept to a minimum with our trained ground staff and sufficient counters in the check-in hall in terminal 1 and terminal 2. You can usually check-in 2 hours before your departure (Austrian Airlines Group 90 minutes).

Check-in for all scheduled flights with Austrian Airlines, Lauda Air, Lufthansa and Austrian Arrows generally starts 90 minutes before departure unless the flight is at 6:00am as the check-in desk opens at 5:00am. Night-before check-in is possible when you fly on scheduled and charter flights with Austrian Airlines Group from 7:30pm to 9:00pm, (except all Saturdays from December to March) usually at desk 4.

The S.A.S check-in desk opens two hours before take off for scheduled flights.
The check-in desk for charter flights also opens two hours before take-off, sometimes earlier if needed. For Niki flights at 06.00 the check-in desk is already open at 4am. Last check-in for all scheduled flights 30 minutes before planned departure. |
