Public buses go at regular intervals between Salzburg Airport and Salzburg main railway station but also to Zell am See, Maishofen, Saalfelden, Weißbach b.L., St. Martin b.L., Unken, Bad Reichenhall and Wals.
BUS CONNECTIONS SALZBURG CITY
- The No. 2 city bus goes daily every 10/20 minutes between Salzburg main railway station and the airport. Sundays and public holidays every 20 min. Journey time approx. 20 min.
- The No. 27 city bus goes daily every 15/20 minutes from the airport via Wals/Viehhausen to the railway station (journey time approx. 40 min).
- The No. 8 city bus goes from Monday to Saturday every 10 minutes from the airport via Salzburg city centre (15 min) to the park & ride Alpensiedlung (journey time 43 min).
Costs: single ticket € 2, children € 1. Tickets available at "Newscorner" in the airport terminal or at the bus driver.
Salzburg Card: Includes free single admission to all the city's attractions, free use of public transport throughout the city, incl. fortress funicular and panorama boat, attractive discounts for cultural events, discounts for various tours and excursions. Available at "Newscorner" in the airport arrival terminal.
